🧼 We Are Virus-Free and Fully Compliant
First things first: our nursery is clean and has never had a detection of Tomato Brown Rugose Fruit Virus (ToBRFV). We run strict hygiene, testing, and traceability procedures for every plant we grow.
However, because ToBRFV was detected elsewhere in Victoria earlier this year, and national regulations have changed, we must follow all current movement restrictions—even though we are virus-free.
🦠What’s Changing?
ToBRFV is a highly contagious virus affecting tomatoes, chillies, and capsicums. While not dangerous to humans, it can devastate crops.
In January 2025, ToBRFV was found in a commercial site in Goulburn Valley, Victoria. Since then, the national strategy has shifted from eradication to long-term management, and interstate movement is now under strict control.
