FAQ
Below are some of are common questions:
We understand the importance of organic practices to you, and while we don't offer certified organic seedlings, we work closely with organic growers and use certified organic seeds and inputs. Our seedlings are grown with the same care, and while we occasionally apply protective treatments to ensure crop health, rest assured that these measures have no impact on the final product. By the time of harvest, no traces of chemicals remain, ensuring your crops meet the highest standards. This is backed by our HACCP certification, which guarantees rigorous safety and quality control throughout our growing process. These occasional treatments are essential to maintain consistent supply and fully support your organic growing needs.
Upon receiving your plants, please unbox them immediately. Carefully remove them from the plastic wrap and gently unwrap the root cells from the dampening towel. Place your plants in a well-ventilated area with direct sunlight, as they may have been deprived of light for several days during transit. This can sometimes cause the leaves to yellow, but simply water them and allow time for recovery. For plants that have traveled longer distances and require a bit more care, we recommend using Microboost from qpseedlings.com.au or a seaweed-based tonic to restore them to full health.
We currently deliver to most states in Australia, excluding Western Australia (WA), Tasmania (TAS), and the Northern Territory (NT) due to soil and quarantine regulations.

If you’re finding it challenging to fit all those seedlings in your garden, why not reach out to family, friends, or neighbours? They might love the chance to join in on your order, saving everyone on postage! Together, you can enjoy more seedlings while cutting down on delivery costs.
Or, if you’ve got room for just a little extra, consider adding some of our exclusive, house-made nutrients. They’re crafted to help your garden truly thrive and aren’t available in stores—plus, they’ll get you over the $50 minimum order amount!
We are continually working to perfect our packaging process! Currently, we wrap the root systems in damp paper towels and place them inside a plastic sleeve, creating a mini greenhouse effect to protect your seedlings during transit.
While our goal is to be 100% plastic-free, we found it necessary to use plastic sleeves for interstate deliveries to ensure the safe arrival of your plants. However, we are actively pursuing the development of a 100% biodegradable sleeve, designed exclusively for QPS, to further our commitment to sustainability.
Plants don't enjoy being confined in a box! Yellowing during transit is common, especially with longer shipping times, as seedlings begin searching for light. This temporary yellowing is often due to the stress of being packaged without the usual access to light and airflow.
Seedlings are living plants, and the change in environment can cause them to lose a bit of their initial vigour. But no worries—this is easily fixed! Once unpacked, they just need some time, fresh air, light, and a bit of care to regain their 'mojo.' Place them in a well-lit area, allow fresh air to circulate, water as needed, and give them a boost with nutrients if possible. They’ll bounce back in no time!

Wilted or dry seedlings can occur due to dehydration during transit. Water the seedlings immediately upon receiving them and place them in a shaded, sheltered spot. With proper care, most will recover quickly.
Due to the perishable nature of plants, we do not accept returns on live plants unless they arrive damaged or do not match the order. In such cases, please send us photos of the issue within 48 hours of receiving your order.
