Cherry Tomato Seedling (Rapunzel)

SKU: QPSTORGS
Regular price $3.99

Our Rapunzel cherry tomato is an indeterminate, cordon-type bred to put on a show: incredibly long, cascading trusses carrying up to 40 glossy, bright-red fruits per strand. The flavour is sweet and snackable, with impressive yields over an extended harvest window—perfect for salads, lunchboxes, and grazing straight off the vine. Best in a sunny, sheltered spot, Rapunzel shines in greenhouses, large patio containers, and even statement vertical setups with strong support.

Plant seedlings a touch deeper than usual for stability and a robust root system. Train to a single or double leader on a sturdy stake or trellis, removing side shoots to keep growth tidy and productive. Keep moisture consistent—especially during flowering and fruit set—and water at the base to help prevent fungal issues.

🌱 SEEDLING HEIGHT | Approximately 15–20 cm, including the root system (at dispatch)

📏 SPACING | Rows: 75–90 cm apart | Plants: 45–60 cm apart (vigorous cordon habit; allow room to train)

🥗 HARVEST | Early maturing with first picks around 10–12 weeks after transplant (location & weather dependent), followed by continuous, extended harvests through the season

🌡️ CONDITIONS | Full sun, protection from strong winds, and fertile, well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. Maintain steady watering at the base. Ideal for greenhouses and large containers; cascading trusses also suit hanging/vertical displays with strong support.

Fruit & plant notes

  • Up to ~40 fruits per truss; ~30 g per cherry; bright red and sweet.

  • Indeterminate/cordon habit with long, cascading trusses; high yields over a long period.

  • Performs beautifully in large patio containers and showy cascading setups (e.g., baskets/verticals) with proper support.

If you’d like, I can also format this for your product page (QPS style), add a quick-care table (EC/feeding cues for hydro), or trim it to a shorter shelf label.
