Our long cucumber seedlings have good cold tolerance and provide an extended production period from early autumn planting onwards. Our variety is able to carry a number of dark green, cylindrical, slightly ribbed, straight and heavy fruits of 30-34cm. The seedlings show good balance and provide regrowth under low light conditions.

🌱 SEEDLING HEIGHT | 15cm-20cm including the root system

📏 SPACING | Rows: 75cm apart  Plants: 75cm apart

🥗 HARVEST |  10-16 weeks, depending on location & weather conditions.

🌡️ CONDITIONS | Sunny position, wind protected, well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Avoid root disturbance and straw mulch under leaves to prevent vegetables from rotting if they come into contact with the soil. Prefers deep and consistent watering at base of plant and avoid watering the leaves to prevent leaf rot.

Excellent

Love these long cucumbers. Big healthy plants with endless amounts of cucumbers and wonderful flavour.

Seedlings great but some didn’t survive transport

I ordered quite a variety of seedlings and generally they were great. They arrived within a few days, however, some of them were dead on arrival (the cucumbers and a couple of tomatoes) some of them were also extremely wilted but with some TLC I’ve managed to bring them back. Not sure how this can be avoided though given that they are live plants
